ECAC Rowing Championship Registration Opening Dates For RegattaCentral.com

Re:       Championships registration, online survey, and athlete waivers.

The ECAC and RegattaCentral.com (RC) are pleased to announce the launch of our registration/waiver process which will be used for all 10 of the ECAC sponsored championships in Spring 2007.  The registration windows for our respective championships are posted here:

Starting March 1, 2007, we request that your program update your roster on RegattaCentral.com to ensure that it includes all rowers and coxswains that will be competing in 2007. 

Please follow these instructions:

Login to RC and make sure you have at least one ECAC regatta ('06 or '07) in your calendar

1. If you aren't a member of your own roster, add yourself.  Make sure your email address is included with your record. (the link to your roster is located in the upper-right corner, beside your affiliation).
2. Select the "ECAC Athlete Compliance" button on your roster page.  You'll be prompted to select one or more athletes.  (for testing purposes, we would suggest checking only your name).
3. Select the button to send the email!
4. The email should arrive in your inbox with a custom, encrypted link.  Just select the link and follow the instructions.

Follow these instructions once you have completed the survey..

1. Login to RC and return to your roster (the link is located on the upper-right corner, beside your affiliation)
2. Edit or add email addresses as needed. VERY IMPORTANT STEP HERE! Click 'Save Changes.'

Athletes that aren't yet on a team's roster can quickly be added by just providing the athlete's name, gender and email address. 

1. Select the "ECAC Athlete Compliance" button in your roster page to send the ECAC email.  You'll be prompted to select one or more athletes.  Click the button to send the email!

All athletes you select will receive an email from Gary Caldwell, ECAC Director of Rowing, requesting that they take the online survey and complete the waiver.  We ask that you try to have your athletes complete this process now, sometime during the next two weeks.  We are using the survey questions to obtain your rosters for our regatta programs.  The waiver each athlete "signs" at the end of the survey is the only waiver necessary for all of the ECAC Championship events this spring.  THERE WILL BE NO PAPER WAIVERS!
