Illinois-Chicago Wins 2009 EIGL Team Championship, Navy’s Parrott Wins All-Around

West Point, NY - The University of Illinois-Chicago edged the United States Naval Academy by 0.8 points to win the 2009 Eastern Intercollegiate Gymnastics League (EIGL) Championships at the United States Naval Academy on Friday, April 3.  Earning first place in the All-Around was Dylan Parrot of the United States Naval Academy (85.250).

With first and second place finishes the University of Illinois-Chicago and the United States Naval Academy earn automatic bids to the 2009 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships hosted by the University of Minnesota.

Finals of the floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bars will be held on Saturday, April 4.
