Coaches: Voting is now taking place for the 2007-08 ECAC Basketball All-Star teams, Players of the Year, and Rookies of the Year in Division II and Division III (New England, Upstate, Metro, and South regions).  The ECAC will honor five players on the ECAC first team, five players on the ECAC second team, a Player of the Year, and a Rookie of the Year in each division/region.

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

There are two PDF documents for each division/region... one containing all the nominees and one just for the Players/Rookies of the Year nominees.  The players are sorted by position.  Only the players that appear on the ballot are eligible to receive votes.

Only vote for players from the division/region based on conference alignment (independent institutions and UAA members vote in the division/region based on geographic location).  Listed below are the conferences under the ECAC umbrella and the divisions/regions they are in:

Division II..... CACC, East Coast, Northeast-10, PSAC
Div. III - New England..... TCCC, GNAC, Little East, MASCAC, NAC, NESCAC, NEWMAC
Div. III - Upstate..... Empire 8, Liberty League, SUNYAC
Div. III - Metro..... CUNYAC, NJAC, Skyline
Div. III - South..... AMCC, Capital Athletic, Centennial, Landmark, Middle Atlantic States, NEAC, Pennsylvania Athletic, Presidents' Athletic

Each first team vote will be worth two points, and each second team vote will be worth one point.  The top five vote-getters (total points), regardless of position, will be honored on the first team.  The next five, regardless of position, will be honored on the second team.

VOTING

Voting will only be accepted electronically.

The steps to voting:

1.      Enter the passcode.  Ballots submitted without the appropriate passcode will not be accepted.
2.      Select the division.
3.      Enter in the All-Star team selections and their institution.  Choose the top 5 players for the first team and the next 5 players for the second team, then pick a Player of the Year and a Rookie of the Year.
         a.       A player receiving a Player of the Year vote should also be one of the 5 players selected on the first team.
         b.      Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players.
4.      Enter the voter information.
5.      Check the accuracy of the information and click "Submit".

The deadline for submitting completed ballots is Friday, April 11.
