ECAC Awards and Honors

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is now accepting nominations for field hockey and football all-star teams. 


Football Nomination Form

The ECAC will honor 11 players on an offensive team, 11 players on a defensive team, three players on special teams, a Player of the Year, a Rookie of the Year, and an honorable mention list in each division and region.  The divisions and regions include; Bowl Subdivision (Division I-A), Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA), Division II, and Division III (Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest regions).

Nomination Criteria:

• Player of the Year/Rookie of the Year nominations may only come from conferences.
• Institutions are asked to submit their first team only (if a player is not from an ECAC member institution, that position may be filled by a player from the second team).
• Independent Institutions (not a member of a conference that sponsors football) may submit three nominations, regardless of position.
• Member Institutions (members of a conference that does sponsor football) may submit two "at-large" nominations to be included on the ballot.

Division II / Division III

The deadline for submitting nominations is Wednesday, November 19 at 5:00 p.m.
The link to the voting ballots and information will be sent out Monday, November 24.
Completed ballots from coaches will be due Monday, December 1.

Bowl Subdivision (Division I-A) / Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA)

The deadline for submitting nominations is Wednesday, December 3 at 5:00 p.m.
The link to the voting ballots and information will be sent out Monday, December 8.
Completed ballots from coaches will be due Thursday, December 11.

Field Hockey Nominations


The ECAC will honor 11 players on the All-Star team, a Player of the Year, and a Rookie of the Year in each division (Division III will also have a second team of All-Stars).

Nomination Criteria:
