IT IS MANDATORY FOR EACH ENTERING INSTITUTION TO COMPLETE ITEMS 1-2
Host institutions must supply a copy of their current general liability policy to the ECAC before the start of competition. The ECAC must be named as an additional insured on the policy for the championship dates only.
In the event an institution charges admission, no complimentary tickets will be issued, however tournament directors have discretionary authority to give up to 10 courtesy passes to visiting administrative personnel.
The top-seeded team will be given first consideration for hosting preliminary, semifinal and championship rounds. However, the sports committee will consider the remaining seeds in accordance with these factors: Overall availability and conditions of facilities, minimizing travel costs to competing teams and an institution's ability to comply with ECAC "Official Agency" contracts.
Institutions that declare to participate in an ECAC Championship and wish to withdraw must do so by noon the Friday before the selection conference call to avoid financial penalty. To withdraw, an institution must notify their selection committee chair (listed in front of championship manuals) AND Matt Fogg, ECAC Director of Championships Assistant, (championships@ecac.org or fax: 508/771-9481) IN WRITING.
Please review all ECAC Championship policies, especially bylaw 2.5and 2.7 and check that you understand all provisions concerning obligation to participate and site selection of ECAC championships. YES, I have read bylaws 2.5 and 2.7 and agree to abide by these rules as written by the ECAC Championships Committee.Score reporting forms are due to the selection committee and ECAC on both Friday, November 3 and Sunday, November 5. Please make the form as complete as possible.
