Employment Opportunities

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Coach of Women's Basketball/Athletics Operations at Saint Michael's College, a NCAA Division II institution and member of the Northeast-10 Conference, located in the greater Burlington area of Vermont.  This position has athletics administrative duties yet to be assigned which may include assisting with the athletics operations in areas of compliance, building supervision, student facilities staff, intramurals, or events.  The position is .7 FTE Assistant Basketball and .3 FTE other duties.

Coaching responsibilities include:

• Assisting in all aspects of the coaching and management of the women's basketball program
• Recruiting and scouting
• Coaching in games and practices
• Strength and conditioning
• Budget management, fundraising, and alumni development.
• Supporting the academic and personal development of all athletes.
• Visible, fully integrated member of the College community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 5 collective years of successful playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Commitment to the overall development of the student-athlete and the mission of the College.
• High level of personal integrity.
• Outstanding work ethic.
• Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience recruiting scholarship athletes highly desirable.
• Outstanding skills in oral and written communication,
• Good organizational ability and computer competency.
• Must have a valid driver's license, and sustain certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
