August 11, 2014 Former Columbia AD Al Paul Passes Away Al Paul, who oversaw the construction of football and soccer stadia at the Baker Field Athletics Complex and directed the merger of the Columbia and Barnard athletic programs during his 17 years as Director of Athletics at Columbia, died Monday at his home in Maryland. He was 88.

August 6, 2014 Grand Opening Celebration of New ECAC Headquarters to be Held August 21 DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for its new offices at the Matrix Corporate Center in Danbury, Conn. on August 21st. Formerly located in Centerville, Mass., the country’s largest and only multi-divisional conference moved its headquarters to Danbury on July 1st.

July 26, 2014 Katie Meline Named Liberty League Assistant Commissioner TROY, N.Y. – Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced the appointment of Katie Meline to the newly created position of assistant commissioner. Meline, who will join the Liberty League in August, comes to the Liberty League after serving as Asa S. Bushnell communications assistant at the Eastern College Athletic Conference for the previous two years.
