Mary Conway Named ECAC Assistant Director of Operations

Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rudy Keeling announced the hiring of Mary Conway as the Assistant Director of Operations.  In her new role, Conway will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and organization of the ECAC trade show and convention; officiating services and the officiating payment system; quality control in communications; and special projects as assigned by the commissioner and associate commissioner for internal affairs.

"Mary has been a positive addition to the staff since she first volunteered at the NCAA Lacrosse Final Four," said Keeling. "Her organizational skills and attention to detail are excellent. She has already worked on some of our major events, including the convention and trade show, and we're happy to have her as a permanent part of the staff."

Conway was a volunteer assistant with the ECAC in the summer of 2008, helping to assist with plans for the annual convention.  She also organized and implemented the ECAC Internship and Mentoring Initiative.  Conway also updated officiating schedules, and collaborated with the ECAC staff on special projects.  Before the ECAC, Conway worked as a client service representative at Great-West Healthcare.  While there, she provided customer service, as well as promoted Wellness Fairs and consumer driven healthcare.

Conway graduated in 2007 from Boston College with a degree in human development and economics. During her time at BC, she worked in the women's basketball office and the Boston College Office for Sponsored Programs.
