ECAC Partners with First Sports International for Online Ticketing and CRM Software

CAPE COD, Mass. - Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC®) Rudy Keeling announced today that the conference has reached an agreement with First Sports International (FSI), the sports industry leader in data collection, management and software applications to provide the ECAC membership and the conference office with ticketing and data management solutions.  This agreement names First Sports International as an Official Online Ticketing Provider and CRM Supplier of the ECAC.

First Sports International will provide the ECAC with First Sports Tickets, an online ticketing application for ECAC championships and other league and affiliate regular-season contests.  Additionally, FSI solutions will manage all membership data, event registration information, and provide the conference with an e-commerce tool to bring ECAC merchandise and other sellable goods online. All applications used by the ECAC will be available for ECAC institutions or member conferences. First Sports International clients include College of Charleston, Samford University, Wofford College, the Irish Football Association, the Rugby Football Union and many others.

"We are excited to launch the First Sports applications," said Keeling. "Their solutions will provide the conference office with a more turn-key method of collecting and managing membership information, championship and event information, and will allow us to maximize our online marketing opportunities."

"The FirstSports ticketing and software solutions are a natural fit for the ECAC," said Steve McDavid, Director of Sales at First Sports International. "The size and scope of the administrative duties that fall under the ECAC is vast, and we believe we can deliver a solution that will create efficiencies and new marketing opportunities for the conference.  We are also excited to have our products available to all of the member institutions within the ECAC, and look forward to meeting more great people within the organization."

The ECAC Corporate Partner Program is dedicated to developing relationships with commercial entities that are committed to the mission of the ECAC, support the ideals of intercollegiate athletics, value the pursuit of excellence on and off the field of play, and serve the needs of the membership.
