Commissioner Keeling Announces Office Staff Restructuring
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) commissioner Rudy Keeling announced on Wednesday that the office staff at the Asa S. Bushnell Center has undergone an administrative restructuring.
“These changes in job titles and responsibilities were made under careful consideration to help better serve the ECAC membership,” Commissioner Keeling said.
Among the changes, Holly Gampa has been hired as the ECAC interim director of marketing. She has over 10 years of sales experience and building client relationships.
Matt Fogg, coordinator of marketing and sport administration, has been appointed the Coordinator of Leagues with oversight of the ECAC Division I men’s lacrosse league and five Division III men’s and women’s ice hockey conferences. The 2007 Hobart College graduate also served as an ECAC Bushnell intern for the 2009-10 academic year.
Formerly holding the position of coordinator of operations and officiating, Pat Colbert has become the Director of Special Events. Colbert joined the ECAC as a member of the Bushnell intern class for 2008-09. In his new role, he will manage the organization’s Convention and Trade Show, Eastern College Football Awards Banquet sponsored by FieldTurf Tarkett, Holiday Festival basketball tournament, Cape Cod Classic soccer tournament and any NCAA Championships hosted by the ECAC.
Alex Lerch, an Asa S. Bushnell Intern for Championships for the ECAC last season, is now a Coordinator of Sport Administration, assisting with communications and championships. A 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, he also worked at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association in Newport News, Va.
Michael Letzeisen is in his eighth year at the ECAC and is now a Coordinator of Sport Administration. Letzeisen works on the various officiating bureaus of the organization. He has vast experience on NCAA sports committees, including currently on the NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Committee, chair of the NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey East Regional Advisory Committee and recently completing a term on the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey East Regional Advisory Committee. Letzeisen will also assist Commissioner Keeling on special projects.
Jen Pacelli was recently re-hired as the Director of DII Governance/Marketing & Special Events, charged with assisting the membership on Division II issues and marketing the ECAC. Pacelli previously worked at the ECAC as the Director of Division III Governance before filling the associate director of athletics for marketing and business affairs position at the University of New Haven.
