Trinity College Announces the Hiring of JoAnn Acquarulo as Assistant Athletic Director

HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College has announced the hiring of JoAnn Acquarulo as assistant athletic director. 

Acquarulo, who has served on the annual fund staffs at both Trinity and Yale University since 2005, will oversee Trinity’s athletic facilities and operations in this newly-created position. 

Acquarulo brings 10 years of experience as an athletics administrator, most recently as the assistant athletic director at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006. 

Prior to RIT, Acquarulo was coordinator of athletic facilities and operations at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and assistant to the athletic director at the College at Brockport for one year. 

A 1994 graduate of Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, Acquarulo earned a master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College in 1997.
