ECAC Announces Dates for 2008 Division III Ice Hockey Officiating Clinics

Cape Cod, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the dates for its annual Division III Ice Hockey Officiating Clinics for current members of the ECAC Division III Ice Hockey Officiating Bureau.

The first clinic will be held on Sunday, September 21 at the Hart Center on the campus of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.  The second clinic will be held on Sunday, September 28 at the ESL Sports Centre in Rochester, N.Y.  Officials who are assigned to ECAC Men's and Women's East, ECAC Northeast and NESCAC games are encouraged to attend the Worcester clinic on Sunday, September 21.  Officials who are assigned to ECAC Men's and Women's West, Niagara University, Robert Morris College and SUNYAC games are encouraged to attend the Rochester clinic on Sunday, September 28.  Attendance is mandatory for all officials.  Agendas for both clinics will be posted on www.ecac.org at a later date.

The clinics will include a run, an exam, an update on the NCAA Ice Hockey Rules and a skating session.

As a reminder, annual dues of $100 are due to the ECAC by Friday, September 19.  Check should be made payable to the ECAC and should be mailed to the ECAC Office (1311 Craigville Beach Road, Centerville, MA 02632).  Please write ice hockey in the memo area on your checks.
